At Bnos Chana, we are dedicated to the comprehensive development of our students, recognizing the importance of social and emotional skills in their overall well-being. Our Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programme integrates hands-on learning and engaging lessons to foster a growth mindset and conflict resolution abilities. We recognise that Middos Tovos are the basis upon which social behaviours are developed.  Our program is driven by the wisdom of the Torah and perspectives from Chassidic teachings.

Growth Mindset:

The Middos Tovos SEL curriculum at Bnos Chana introduces students to the concept of growth mindset, emphasising the belief that intelligence and abilities can be developed through effort, perseverance, and effective strategies. Through interactive discussions, engaging activities, and real-life examples, our students are encouraged to embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks, and cultivate a positive mindset.

Conflict Resolution:

At Bnos Chana, we understand the significance of conflict resolution skills in building harmonious relationships and creating a positive school climate. Our SEL Middos Tovos programme equips students with effective strategies to resolve conflicts in a respectful and constructive manner, guided by the fundamental principles of Ahavas Yisroel and Chessed. Through role-playing, group discussions, and cooperative games, students learn active listening, empathy, and problem-solving techniques.
